Working with a safety belt
Learning how to correctly and safely put on and use a safety harness. Training institute and location: Sitech Fire Brigade & Security, Kerenshofweg 200, Geleen.
The duration of this training is 2 hours, consisting of theory and practical exercises.

Training course Fire and Safety Watch
Acquiring knowledge and skills necessary for (preventive) monitoring. You also learn to take the right measures to prevent or (repressively) limit undesirable events, such as fires and accidents.
The training covers the following topics:
- Tasks fire and safety watch
- Permits, general
- Alert events, general
- Respiratory protective equipment
- Hazardous substances
- Types of extinguishing agents and equipment
Please note: When participating in the training course, personal protective equipment (work clothes and work shoes) is recommended, closed shoes and covered legs are mandatory. During the practical exercises, your clothes may get slightly dirty.
This training is valid for 3 years. After the 3 years, you will need to follow a refresher training of 8 hours in total.

Small fire extinguishers
The aim of this training is to familiarise you with fire and small fire extinguishers (SFE), and to give you an understanding of how to extinguish an incipient fire.
Training institute and location: The training is provided by Sitech Fire Brigade & Security, Kerenshofweg 200 in Geleen at the training grounds.
A fire tray with water and hexane will be used. The fire is ignited and must be extinguished by the participant.
Please note: When participating in the training, personal protective equipment (work clothes, work shoes and hand gloves) is recommended, closed shoes and covered legs are mandatory. A jacket and helmet will be provided and are mandatory.

Working in a chemical suit
This training means that after this training one can use the chemical suit in a responsible and safe way and know its limitations.
Training is provided by the Sitech fire brigade.

Working with breathing air
his training focuses on working safely with a breathing apparatus and becoming comfortable and familiar with it.
Training institute and location: Sitech Fire Brigade & Security, Kerenshofweg 200, Geleen.
Study load: 2 hours
Test: Yes, and practical exercises with the breathing apparatus.
Please note: Work clothes are recommended when participating.
